Oh good grief, when I said I might need a vacation, this isn't what I meant. I'm more of a fun in the sun type of girl, winter wonderland is just giving me flashbacks. Ugh.

Avengers Assemble? It's probably too much to hope you guys are here, but if you are, I'd sure like to know how we are going to get out of this one. No Offense to Jerry, but I'm not interested in staying here indefinitely!

Probably not very. We were apparently separated once before? We met on a train traveling through the void and when we found each other here, he told me I was gone for weeks? But it hadn't been that long for me.

I'm pretty familiar with the multiverse. One of my best friends is a Janet Van Dyne.

Woah that's weird but kinda neat. I don't have many women who are my friends since I'm kinda stuck in the boys club. So it's cool to meet you, Gwen!

The boys club is a weird place to be. Sometimes, it smells bad. There were two guys living in this house. Now it's just myself and Miles. Can confirm: boys are weird.

Well I can confirm they get weird as they get older and that's coming from someone who lives with several of them at Avengers Mansion back home.

I met a version of Tony Stark. He was...something.

No, we're just a group of superheroes. I was hoping that some of my teammates would be here. But it looks like I'm on my own for the time being.

The version from my world is a bit of a warmonger. Not the nicest guy in the world. The one I met was from Peter's world. Good guy, comparatively. He absolutely needs constant adult supervision, though.

Tony's one of my teammates on the Avengers back home, but I'd be the first to say that he turned over a new leaf when he became Iron Man. Tony and I had business dealings with each other back before he became Iron Man. He was definitely a different person back then. He's come a long way since then, but yeah he still has problems communicating what he's thinking.

Haven't really seen any of the Avengers which is almost too bad. Would be kind of funny to see the big green guy smash things out of frustration.

[ She says this because she kind of wants to smash things. ]

[ Okay she has to chuckle a little at that. ]

Yeah, the big guy doesn't usually miss an opportunity to smash things, frustrated or not.

I don't actually personally know him but it definitely seems like that from what I've seen. I bet that's probably why he isn't here, they would think twice about it.

[ She gets a curious look then. ]

Once he warms up to someone he can have chill moments, but he is definitely quick to anger. He's definitely earned some of his reputation, but Hulk is more than a mindless monster.

[ There's definitely affection there when she talks about the Hulk. The big guy has become a good friend and teammate over the months they have been working together. She smiles and nods at the question.]

Honestly if I hadn't seen all the crazy things I've seen while fighting along side the Avengers, it would be a harder sell for me too. Nice to meet you!

Yeah, I get that feeling. Most recently I've had to deal with immortals and ninjas who wanted to destroy New York so they could get to some dragon bones. That was...something.

More wondering what your definition of a "superhero" is. We have a few that run around in tights and capes here.

You said teammates and mentioned the Avengers. You're a hero in your own right.

Some of the superheroes I work with wear tights, but the capes are usually optional. I guess it depends on their theme and the tech they use. Like personally I don't wear a cape because it would hinder my wings.

But yeah, the Avengers is the team I belong too. I was just hoping some of them would be here. But at this rate, I'll work with anyone who wants to figure this place out. Because I'm not looking to make this place my permanent home.

[ She chuckles again, because she's heard him described much worse, especially by General Ross and his Hulkbusters. ]

[ Jan's aware of a lot of heroes back home, but she hasn't met them all and well there are lots that operate out of New York in general that she still hasn't got to meet with yet. ]

Well, there might be. It's just the first time I've heard of the name. Most of us have been here a while... though "here" is a relative thing.

I doubt it, they would have contacted me if they were here. We don't leave each other hanging, it's not our style.

Yeah, I suppose all of those things could describe us. We don't always see eye to eye on every situation but we've all learned the value of working as a team to take down the bad guys.

That sounds what the classic definition of a family is.

More often than not, we'd be the dysfunctional sort of family.

Name a family that isn't dysfunctional.

That's true. Though I think some are better at it than others.

Being stuck in a cluster of realities among the multiverse with no knowledge of how we arrived or how we can leave certainly seems to be something that wouldn't be as funny.
