[The face that appears onscreen is a new one to all but a couple people so far - one sporting chalk-white skin, bright ceremonial makeup, and a placid half-smile on painted lips. He stares the camera down, so still it almost seems like a still image.

Until, that is, he speaks, softly and in slow, measured words.]

I have...been here since yesterday. I am no stranger to...travel. But I am a Medicine Seller by trade. And I have lost my supplies.

[He holds up a small bag to the camera - showing off stringy stalks of sun-baked desert weeds.]

I am finding...local plants. I plan to learn to use them. But I am also looking for places to acquire other things. Tea. Tobacco. Incense. Herbs.

Has anyone found the best sources for such things in this place?

I'm new here as well, so I won't be much help in knowing of places to acquire things, but I am curious to see what answers you get from those who have been here longer.

I don't know their sources, but the coffee shop, Starkbucks, sells teas. They may be a lead.

[The way that Kusuriuri talks is slow, measured. He is aware that it makes him sound suspect, and the way he smiles in return certainly doesn't help.

He would be lying if he said he didn't do it on purpose. It amuses him. Besides, there is something about the frank way this person is talking that he finds refreshing.]

I did. Yes.

But not all ills...can be treated with pills and salves. Some things that need curing are...stranger.
