[ Charlie's showing her face today. So far, no one's come off as wrong, or pinged her as a danger. No one's recognized her, so Charlie's stepping out of her shell a tiny bit more. ]
Okay, so...what's the deal with the school? Did anyone ever find out?
[ That voice isn't exactly soft, she's speaking to be heard, sure. But nothing loud or intrusive. It's careful and cautious. There's even wariness on her face and those eyes are absolutely the eyes of someone who has Seen Some Shit, despite how even and practically stoic her expression is. ]
I mean, people have gone to school in worse conditions, right? No electricity shouldn't be that big an issue.
So what do we suspect is wrong? Just out of curiosity.
