Already I've heard hypotheses on how we got here, and what we might be doing here. Alternate dimension seems to be the most popular theory but I'm uncertain. The train seems to imply short distance travel, and yet this planet is not in any solar system I've visited. Some sort of transport capable of space travel would be necessary, but I've yet to find anything outside of Serenity.

[Finally, she looks up, pausing in her work.] My name is River. If you wish to meet me, or partake in dance lessons, I can be found at Groove City.

A shared dream would require massively complex technology, and we'd likely all have to be in the same place anyway. Close to each other. Long distance dream sharing seems unlikely.

[ Because neither of those are incredibly familiar to him. Others have traveled in space, though he hasn't. And as far as he's aware, nobody he knows has traveled across dimensions. ]

I would love to learn. Dance is such an important custom and part of so many rituals - I've been too busy to study before.

Not remotely, unfortunately. Only from a theoretical point of view. The idea of the multiverse, where infinite realities could potentially exist at once. But I've never studied it in any depth.

One should always make time for leisure activities, even during studies. Though I will admit, I studied dance as hard as I did physics. But there was a calmness in it for me that physics couldn't bring.

I have people I need, but I think they're fine. Except maybe Sensei, but he can always take care of himself in the end.

I think if you have people to get back to, it's better to look at it as any other theory, and keep hope that you can get to them.

I can use shadows in all sorts of ways. For one thing, I usually keep my sword in my shadow, but it showed up in a box the day I got here.
