I think it's best if we centralize what information we know about this location. Driftcrest seems to be be more hostile than the last two locations I've been in with this "dimension." I'll share what I've learned so far.

Update me or correct me where I'm wrong. I'll update this as needed.

- Everything shuts down after 7:00 PM. No one is allowed outside. Guards are posted.
- Ice sculptures of people who have seemingly passed. There's a memorial plaque.
- Driftcrest might of been a fort at one point?
- Something is out at night. Hunting? Watching? I've only heard rumors.

They have some manner of empathic abilities and project fear. I experienced this first-hand, as did my best friend when we lost track of time at the arcade and didn't leave when we should have.

I just remember suddenly being terrified.

Also? They're really, really good at staying out of sight. No one knows what they look like, and the guards refuse to talk about it.

I'd argue that and point out Wechester and Beachville were okay? But my boyfriend was a friggin' garden gnome for a couple months and reappeared with injuries from being hit by a train. That's pretty rough.

Anyway. About the monsters; I've heard the locals call them The Unseen.

Apparently they're known as the Unseen. Capable of emotional manipulation.

Getting close to a guard shouldn't be too hard, right? It'll just be getting near an Unseen and seeing if I could hit it at all.

I've managed to be out a little later than 7 and there were still people out. Not many and they're usually rushing to shelter.

I could hit the library and see if I can find more history on Driftcrest and confirm the fort theory.

Ronan and I are going to try to do some investigating after dark. If we find anything relevant, we'll let you know.

I have Blue's research. I can see if there's anything else that might help.

No they don't. I assume whatever causes that it the thing people are noticing at night.

I'd think there would be plenty, given the fact they're all scared of whatever these Unseen are.

It was more a general question of how the two of you are. Though, give me the details. Call me curious.

I'm not certain if there will be any legends. The people here seem unwilling to discuss whatever happens at night.

That or they're afraid that discussing it will cause something to happen.

We're okay. I think. Getting used to normal after the memories of Gotham are complicated. I'm having some complications with our friend Adam that I can't seem to sort out.

Ronan thinks he found a way to explore at night without being noticed by whatever is out there. We're going to test it soon.

Logic says that anything that causes fear when it's close by is probably not just watching, it's hunting for something. Since ice sculptures of dead people also show up in the morning, It's also a safe bet that whatever is being hunted for ends up being lethal to the hunted.

I would agree. There's no point to make a memorial like that unless the loss is deep. Either suddenly, or long term.

And it would also lead me to believe that they have either stopped trying to hunt the Unseen in return, or never tried to hunt it at all.

If these things are really that good at not being seen it would be difficult to hunt them. I don't think these people ever had much choice in not hunting and instead just trying to stay alive.

It's weird there isn't more information on them.

I'm wondering if they're too fast for more modern equipment. Cameras, infrared, sound detection.

The people in Driftcrest are cagey. Wechester City was just paranoia. This is fear.

Are you saying that people are afraid of even talking about them?

I remember it getting super cold when we were out and they were nearby. So not only can they influence how you're feeling, but the temperature suddenly drops when they're around.

I'm not much of a scientist, but, that sounds like some kind of atmospheric manipulation.

Yeah, something like that. I dunno if they can only make it cold, but that's what we felt at the time. Doesn't help the whole anxiety thing either.

It'd be dangerous to put one of us out there as a test subject. You'd think this place would have some documentation on that. Information to keep people out.

To be fair to them, I don't think they anticipated people from other worlds getting dropped in on things like this.
