[He looks like he's just woken up; there are sleep lines on his face and his hair is messy. But who would go to sleep immediately after being kidnapped, right?]

Okay, so I can cross 'get kidnapped' off my bucket list. [That was a joke, of course; it was totally not on his bucket list.] Nice of them to give us phones and stuff? Feels kind of suspicious, but whatever.

What's up with this place? I tried to take a walk and was told, and I quote, 'go back inside'? I gotta tell you, that's not gonna cut it for me. I'm a night owl. [Among other things.]

Also, how's the uh, [How did he put this without outing himself.] the nightlife around here? [He was kind of worried it would be lacking considering his experience so far, but he'd been awake for less than three hours here, soooo.]

Also, uh. How did I get here?

I guess those are both terrible things that I don't want to happen.

Well I'm glad to hear that. It would be a shame if you got injured or turned into a statue on your first day in this freaky place.

Then we're on the same page! [ She's just going to hope for the best, while they try to figure things out. ]

So why don't you come by the library when there's light out and help us figure out some of these books?

[He tried his hardest not to make a face over the 'when there's light out' part because ew, sunlight. He mostly succeeded.]
