Citizens of Driftcrest have started to disappear at an alarming rate. You can't even get into the Ice Statue Garden without a fear of being trampled. The situation is going to escalate into a panic that we'll need to deal with... even if we aren't native to the reality.

Time to pool together what we've learned. Post what you've found about the Unseen or history of Driftcrest. I think it's time we start moving forward with a plan.

I'm Bruce Wayne. I ran a billion dollar multi-corporation in my home reality, and now sit on the board of Wechester Enterprises. Mr. Wechester is always keeping an eye on what we do--as it's obvious we're not native to any of these realities. Don't be surprised if I bring up questions or concerns he ever has. Driftcrest is over 200 years old but the history books only go back about five. That's when the Unseen showed up. Trying to read anything beyond that is nausea-inducing because the informatin just doesn't exist. There are tons of theories that they're not from this universe but got stuck.

They're also theorized to steal souls/a persons essence. I'm quoting one of three books, here. And paraphrasing the stuff I've read.

We're trying to locate a mining cave that fell in on itself roughly the same time the Unseen came into this universe? But even doing that much is tricky.

Them being stuck here like us isn't that hard to imagine. The question would be why WE easily go from place to place when they've been here for at least five years.

Not all superheroes tend to wear capes I've realized. Some have bright costumes.

They have some form of natural cloaking ability. Some physical creature you can't see with the naked eye.

I know very well what people tend to do on these sorts of platforms.

You yourself could be anyone, and I may or may not be able to verify your identity.

[ It does seem a little foolish to think that someone would go to these lengths to obscure their identity. And why would they pick Bruce's, of all people? Yes, his name means something in Gotham and Metropolis, but this isn't either of those places, is it? ]

I suppose I'll have to see it with my own eyes to believe it. Super men can and do rise up from nothing, but they can also fall.

We think what we need to find to save our people is in the box from our dreams. I say our, but I actually don't know if you've had the weird dream everyone seems to have had.

There was a box and people surrounding it. Asking us to break the box. We think both the Unseen and the box are in this mining cave.

I haven't. But, let's just say my reality learned that we're not the only ones in the universe in a destructive way. Many of us aren't up on the knowledge of super heroes.

From what I gather people appear there. But, I'd look around and see what people are saying. We need to get information going.

That's what it says on my birth certificate. Born and raised Gothamite. Multi-billion dollar company back home and numerous charities? Sounds like me.

[ Bruce doesn't trust easily -- especially when the reality is based in the concept of constantly going into other realities. Who knows what they might find. Hell, they might find another version of him.

That last bit stings. He frowns in the middle of his office at Wechester Tower before looking back at the window, fogged with snow. It takes a moment for him to respond to that. ]

My guess is that these realities need saving so much that it's pulling in super beings. But, it's just a guess. Business men don't know much about being heroes.

Looks like it's not something any of us can escape, in any world.

Is it? Well, I'm glad that I've managed to impress you, of all people. And what can I say? In this world, you either grow and adapt quickly when change comes knocking or you find yourself being run over. Do I really seem like the type of woman who would sit back and let that happen? Or perhaps you've never known a woman quite like me.
