that it's not just the universe pulling people here at random, or intentionally - whatever the reason really is?

for all we know it could be a whole group of someones managing this
i read the government - my world's anyway - has been kidnapping people for years
using them for experiments
what if this is the same thing?
only on a colossal scale?

I do believe it's a someone, but as far as I can tell, our odds of finding this someone are not looking very high just yet.
Time has a funny way of bringing things to light, however.

I imagine this wouldn't be impossible to achieve, but there are people here from a variety of different worlds and time periods. What kind of person would have that sort of power?
