This would probably the last place I expected to end up, if I even knew it was on the list.

Weird way to meet the neighbors, too, but how do you do, I guess?

I can think of stranger ways.

Anyways, welcome to Driftcrest.

These phones do. You can customize the messages to go out to only certain people, or to lock them further from that. Think of it more as posting to a message board than setting up a conference call.

Less need for a business suit that way.

Driftcrest is only convenient now that we solved their problem. The question is how much longer are we staying before it changes again.

Aside from the natives, I don't think anyone expected to end up in this place.

But at least you got dropped in after all the chaos has settled down.

The main trouble has passed, a couple of days ago several of us fought a bunch of monsters that were known as the Unseen. We got rid of them. So everyone is taking a collective breath now.

From my understanding, the Unseen were a problem of Driftcrest. The people who have been here before it morphed into Driftcrest, told me that they hadn't had any problems with actual monsters until then.

I got dropped here pretty much as things had took a turn for the worse with the creatures. So I only have the information that I collected during my research of the monsters. There was a lot of conflicting information to work through.

According to others who have been in this place longer, the setting changes but the natives seem unaware of it. Jerry and his information booth seem to be static as are some of the businesses, but everything else will change.

I haven't witnessed this myself, this is just what I have been told by several people who have been stuck here like us. During my research of the monsters, I did find references to places called Beachville and Weschester City though. So I'm inclined to believe them.

I'm sure you'll fill out that contacts sheet soon.
Bruce Wayne is my full name.
Driftcrest was under siege by invisible creatures that would turn victims into pure ice.
Driftcrest is the third reality I've seen. When I arrived? It was a beach.

It's unclear to me. You might have to ask one of the others who have experienced it first hand.

It is. We're likely to learn for sure, if Driftcrest shifts since the monster problem was solved and that would be an opportune time to change the setting up again. Of course, this is just my speculation right now.

We're all in the same situation. Far from home without a way back that we know of.
Any first name to go with that, Mr. Biggs?
World, reality. We come from different places and we change them. It was a beach when I arrived.

It probably isn't. It shouldn't be.

Biggs then.

It was. I'm guessing they had some ability to affect the weather if it melts the moment that they're stopped.

It seems like they came with the snow in this reality. That, or they simply were the most active during the winter. The previous reality was a metropolitan city, and before that a beach city. Driftcrest has certainly been the most dangerous so far.

Magic. You have that?

I'm not always a fan of speculating either, but it is all based on what I have been told by others that have experienced the shifts. Hopefully we'll have more of a definitive answer soon.

That would require us to have been here prior to the Unseen. From what I gather? The information is dodgy at best. They tried to suppress what they could about it to control panic.

I've heard a few people mention magic before. Not in the context of "materia."
