Let me preface this by saying I grew up in a place a lot like Haven. Rough, but colorful. Everyone looking out for themselves, the environment really not suited for anything fancy or pretty, but making do with what one has.

And I'm used to the clothing. I've made a lot of clothing like this when I was younger, even modifying clothes to make them more durable for The Isle.

That being said, I'd love to help anyone that has clothing they might need altered. Please get in contact me if you'd like me to help with this.

[ It might strike people as odd that Evie opts to post a text message, and not actually show herself like she usually does. But like she said, she grew up in a place a lot like Haven. She's not exactly feeling the most happy right now, and would rather people didn't see her upset. ]

I'm okay with talking about it.

It was a prison island. All the worst people of my world were put there and a magical barrier was put around it to keep people from leaving. We couldn't even use our own magic if we wanted. I was born to a woman whose jealousy over a child was so great, she hired someone to try to kill that child. But she was good to me, in her own way.

It was a very rough, very dangerous place. Not really suited for children, but there were many of us born there. I lived there until I was about fifteen years old. It looked a lot like Haven, only surrounded by water and perpetually cloudy.

You were on a prison island?

[It seems impossible that someone as kind as Evie would be kept in such a place even if her mother had been there. Didn't she have other family that could have taken her in?]

I'm grateful that she was kind to you. In her own way.

How did you manage to leave?

Remember that this place changes regularly even if we don't know its patterns. We'll probably be somewhere else soon. Until then, you have your new family here and your beau. We'll keep your spirits up and try to make this place better for you than the island.
