[There's quite a bit of fumbling at first, with some shots of the floor and feet in boots before Hamlet manages to wrangle the camera into submission. And then what can be seen is a young lady with her hair pulled back in a messy braid, wearing what looks to be a pirate shirt and vest.
Because it is. Before coming here, she had been kidnapped by pirates. And so she is wearing, in a very literal sense, a pirate outfit.]
Hallo illo lo hallo! Greetings to the town of Haven and all it's denizens, may you be well on this day. I am Hamlet, formerly of Denmark and now of the ocean, somewhere off the coast of England.
A great thanks to the man Jerry for providing me with information on this place, little though it was I give him thanks.
I do believe I have mastered this device well enough to communicate with you all. So come, tell me who you are and what it is you do in this perhaps formerly fine place. It was once perhaps a place of some grandeur, but seems to have fallen upon hard times.
As have we all. As have we all.

Tell me of these places. What manner of recreation might be had?

I work on cars. Engine, brakes--I'm pretty good at figuring out what's wrong. [Not to pat himself on the back or anything. He just had a knack for it.]
The Metroplex has stuff like archery, video games, an arcade. Um. Rock climbing and other sports. [He couldn't remember everything off the top of his head, but he felt like that was a pretty good summary.] And the Caldera is like. A skating place?

I see. And what manner of thing is a car.
[She nods along with his description, taking mental notes.] Archery, I know this. And I suppose I can see the sport in climbing rocks. A rock, depending on the size, might be quite a challenge. But I am afraid that for the rest, I am at a loss.
Nevertheless! I shall make visit to this place and discover its secrets for myself, for it feels unfair to burned you with the task of obtaining and repeating so much knowledge.

And rock climbing usually refers to climbing mountains and cliffs.
[Or, you know, man mad climbing walls, which were arguably a lot safer.]
It's probably a good idea to check out things for yourself. Some things are easier to understand when you see them.

Or perhaps one can, and I am being overly cautious. A fault of mine.

[Adam was often overly cautious himself.]
Especially in a place like this. We don't know what to expect, or sometimes, who we can trust.
