[Video] - un; magician
[It was rare that Adam had been excited or happy for something while in this place, though he had his moments. This evening? This evening he was smiling. He was in his room at the Barns, a white rabbit visible on the bed behind him.
He didn't usually use the network, but he was trying to engage more, too.]
Hello, everyone. I'd been thinking for a while that who knows when we're going to get out of this place and go home. You know, resume our lives.
[Do what they wanted to, live their lives. Adam might never experience his dreams and become a lawyer, so.]
So, yesterday I got a tattoo. [Which would probably surprise anyone who knew him.
He held out his left arm, showing a beautiful tattoo on the inside of his wrist. It stretched halfway down his forearm and had a border of roses and vines. He'd gladly explain at least part of the reason why he chose the magician card if anyone cared to ask.]
I'd really recommend the Mystic Ink tattoo parlor. Parts of this even glow in the dark. [Which was maybe the coolest part about it. He turned off the light for a moment, showing that the roses, the eye of the bird, and the edges of the feathers all glowed, before turning the light back on.]
It's really cool.
[He swiveled the camera a little to show the rabbit again.] Also, that's Cottonball, if anyone was curious.

[ Gwen is sitting on the counter at home, micro pig Peter Porker eating his breakfast of fruits and veggies out of a bowl with his name on it nearby. There’s a faint hissing sound from the Keurig to Gwens right. ]
The Mystic told me about the tattoos you can get that’ll help find people if they go missing, but not the glow in the dark ink. That’s really neat.
Also Cottontail is adorable. Did you get him when we came to Haven?

I heard about that kind of ink, being able to find people, but it felt a little...I don't know, iffy?
[A little invasive, he wasn't sure how else to describe it. The idea of being able to find someone who went missing through their tattoo was nice in theory, but.]
Thank you. I did. He was just waiting in the kitchen for me. It was a nice surprise.

[ This place is weird, Adam. ]
My boyfriend gave me an idea for a tattoo that I've been designing. I'm going in on Saturday.
The Mystic really is fun to talk to. He helped me get the design just right, but didn't alter it too much.

[That was adorable.]
That's great. I'm sure it'll turn out wonderful.
Also, he really is. I wasn't really sure what to expect with getting a tattoo, but he put me at ease.
[Which wasn't easy to accomplish with Adam.]
Action
[Gansey had been avoiding both Ronan and Adam at first, but then distraction had started to turn to obsession. His space for Drill Bit had turned into both barn and studio as Gansey began experimenting with first pencils and paper, the paint and various types of canvases. He'd finally remembered that he should eat dinner, leaving his latest experiment on the easel to forage for food.
He doesn't mean to eavesdrop, but he hears some of what Adam's said on the network.
He clears his throat, not wanting to startle his friend. He raps on the door frame before peeking inside, still holding the towel he'd used to try to clean off the last hints of pigment from his hands.]
You got a tattoo?

Putting his phone down, he went over to hold out his wrist to show Gansey his tattoo.]
I did. I figured...I figured if we were stuck here, I might as well live a little.
[He'd had plenty of money saved up to afford the tattoo, and he was pretty damn proud of how it'd come out. He wasn't sure it would go over very well back home, but who knew when they were going to get to leave this place?]

He makes an appreciative sound as he studies the design, waiting for permission before taking Adam's hand so that he can see the tattoo from different angles.]
An apt design for you. I haven't seen ravens as part of the Tarot very often.
[He likes it. It makes him wonder what his card would look like in a raven themed deck. He might try to draw something like it, but he's tired of certain themes in his life.]
It really glows in the dark?
[That had been difficult to see from the doorway.]

[Ravens meant a lot in their quest, and that combined with him being the magician...he couldn't think of anything more fitting for a tattoo.
Smiling, he reached for the switch, turning off the lights in the room to show how the tattoo glowed. He was especially proud of that little detail because it was cool.]
How have you been, lately?
[He wasn't a master of smooth conversation transitions, but it'd been a while since he'd spoken to Gansey.]
