[Another new face fills your feed - a middle aged man wearing a bright, bemused smile. He's a little sweaty, bow tie and glasses a little disheveled, but his tone is clear and bright. Friendly!]

Hello, everyone out there! My name is Doctor Casper Darling. I've just arrived, and as I was trying to get my bearings, I was knocked flat. It was like my atoms wanted to seperate, like every piece of me wanted to be in the same place at once. I didn't know what was happening, or even necessarily who I was.

[It's now that he realizes his glasses are crooked. He reaches up and straightens them out, still not realizing about his bow tie.]

It was fascinating. Is this normal here? This is a different dimension, isn't it?

This is my field, I would love it if I could be brought up to speed. Anything you can tell me.

It seems like it, I don't know if it's official or anything, or if anyone has experienced anything like it before since I've only been here a few weeks myself, but it's as good a term as anything. [She shrugs, laughs a little.] So is calling it a royal pain in all our arses.

It began around the 24th, I think? If we're going by Earth's standard calendar. [She's been places where it HASN'T run on the same calendar, places where time had run... differently. Felt different to those that had ended up there. So she feels the need to specify.] If we're NOT, then three or four days or so ago, near as I can tell.

[She grins] I don't know, between the being yanked to a new spot in the multiverse and the glitching, I think you are more than forgiven forgetting a few social niceties.

I'm Zoey. Zoey Westen. It's a pleasure to meet you, Dr. Darling.

Well, if that's the name a group of people is using - those thoughts have power of their own. Glitching it is.

[Nodding as she speaks, he takes more notes, studious and excited all at once. He jabs the paper with a flourish to finish his sentence before looking up with a smile at the introduction.]

Zoey! Fantastic. Yes. Definitely a pleasure. How long have you been here, if you don't mind my asking?

[pythianwoman]

[Zoey watches him take notes, thoroughly amused. Maybe it's his voice that has her so inclined to like him. His voice reminds her a little of Alan's.]

Hm.

[She thinks a moment.] A day over two weeks, I think.

[Look, this is her fifth or sixth world at this point. Her sense of time is a little skewed.]

[dynamitedarling]

[Yeah, wow, that's funny, his voice really is like Alan's isn't it?

Jotting more words down, he sort of stares up at something off and above camera before looking back to Zoey.]

Wonderful. And you arrived by train as well? Where did you come from?

Please, stop me if I become too intrusive.

[pythianwoman]

[She nods.] By train. But from what I’ve gathered that’s not how it usually is for new arrivals?

[And then she laughs.] I will, I promise, but I’m not too worried about it. As for where I came from… that is a complicated question. I’m from England, by way of Australia and Greece and a few other countries [She moved around a lot as a kid and calls more than one place home.] and five or six other worlds before this one. I think. Maybe seven?

[She might have lost track at this point.] And it depends on if you count ending up in the same corner of the multiverse twice as separate.

[dynamitedarling]

Is that so? What have you been told is normal?

[He tracks along with the conversation - until she mentions worlds and multiverses, and he very nearly jumps out of his seat, becoming more animated and beaming from ear to ear.]

That's - that's incredible. Incredible! So many planes, I - well, this is going to need more than a phone conversation, now isn't it?

[pythianwoman]

Arriving outside an information booth, apparently? Which is kind of apropos for being yanked into new world, I guess.

[There’s nothing quite like a scientist’s enthusiasm, and goddamn if Darling isn’t adorable as fuck.]

Yeah, it kind of is. In person is better. It’s not the sort of thing I like talking about over network devices like this.

[And if she’s going to go into any sort of in-depth detail about... any of it, well. She’d rather be face to face.]

[dynamitedarling]

Fascinating! Fascinating.

[She laughs.] I can do either, honestly. [When you travel the multi!verse as much as she has you end up drinking a lot of both.] If you’re the type to go for something stronger yourself then I think that might be a good idea.

[dynamitedarling]

Well, wonderful! I've heard of a 'Pour Intentions' in town somewhere, does that suit you?

[pythianwoman]

[The grin she gives him is brilliant, and amused, her ice blue eyes sparkling.]

It should suit me very well, I hope. I work there.

[dynamitedarling]

Oh! Well that's perfect, then! I'll stop by one of these evenings and see if I can't borrow you for a few minutes.
