[There's a lot of grumbling as the audio starts. Beast is hardly going to show himself off to the populace at large right off the bat, given his startling appearance. That's a good way for people to turn up with the torches and pitchforks. There's a lot of muttering in his deep, growly voice.]

No--No--No! That's not right-- Maybe if I-- Oh da--

[And the audio cuts out. It's restored a few minutes later and this time he at least seems to be certain he's recording.]

I was wondering if anyone here is familiar at all with magic and curses?

[Might as well get a general sense of what everyone here thinks about the subject before he decides to reveal himself as a big, possibly scary monster.]

I suppose you have a point.

[Maybe the names just translated very badly? At least there was good reason why they were named as such. Beast had just gone along with being named as such because he didn't feel like he fit his human name anymore.]

I have a feeling this Grumpy and I would get along very well.
