Hello, everyone. If we haven't met yet, my name is Bruce Wayne. I've recently been employed at Weschester Enterprises on behalf of Mr. Weschester. Which is unfortunately why I'm having to reach out and contact you all about it.

Mr. Wechester has seen some increasing interest in the building, especially after it appeared to us in Flux. He's sending a formal request, through me, that the activity cease. He feels its interrupting business and frankly, rude. He's only asked me because I'm the only one on the Board that is not native to the area.

So... that puts me in the unique position to directly give his wishes to you. As well as... discuss what interest any of you might have in Wechester Enterprises.

[ He raises his eyebrows, being purposely pointed about that. Giving a hint to those who might be paying more than casual attention. ]

Mr. Sims. We haven't met formally until now. You seem to have broken a window - if not several - of Wechester Enterprsies. I've been asked to look into the matter. Mind telling me what happened?

Well that all depends: what else does Weschester get into besides pulling reverse David Copperfields and making buildings appear from the ether?

Are they Nazis? Are you sure about whether or not they're nazis?

I haven't heard anything about that. I'd say it's safe because it's gone through the official channels.

It seems like running most of the city. The family ties into several other organizations and charities.

[ Eugene really can't stop the look of alarm on his face when he's reached out to. There's a guy much older and much bigger than he is, calling him out directly and this makes him just a bit nervous. And it's about him crashing into the Wechester building.

Which is embarrassing so he's turning just a bit red. ]

I-it was an accident. I was out in the storm, trying to see if anyone needed help, but the winds were stronger than I could navigate, even with my best hard-light wings, and I got blown into the building.

Does this mean that I can't check EMF readings anymore?

[He gives Bruce the smile that charms old ladies into offering him tea and cookies and property owners into forgetting about no trespassing signs.]

I've never been on a "field trip" before, should a "field trip" be to a field? A trip to a big building would be a "building trip."

Yeah, you could say that. If you see a symbol that's like a red skull with tentacles coming out of it, that's what they've been using most recently in my world. Calling themselves Hydra instead. I've got a few... favors to repay them. [He smiles, but it looks more like a grimace.]

I think I can manage to keep a few things private from Mr. Weschester. Especially if they're concerns from the visiting population.

If it's an accident, I don't see why Mr. Weschester would be worried. Unless you have more going on than just that?

I think if you're going to, you should find a more discrete way of doing it.

So I'm learning. Everything is "cool" but nothing is cold. Someone can be "hot" but it just means they're pretty. "Neat" doesn't mean clean and tidy it means "interesting."

If you need someone nosy, hit me up. I have a background in journalism, so I'm not just good at asking questions. I'm good at knowing what questions to ask.

Neat and tidy still mean what they do. They've simply gained additional meanings based on context of society. [ Is this a conversation they're really having? ] That and the way English is taught apparently isn't the same.

You'd need to be nosy without causing a scene. In my experiences, journalists have a hard time doing that.
