[ When Tandy appears on the network, it's clear that she is somewhere dark. All that can be seen behind her is a brick wall that has seen better and definitely cleaner days. Tandy has seen better days as well as she leans her head back against the wall without caring about how dirty it is. She pulls a brief face as she shifts her weight before forcing a smile, keeping the video trained on her from the shoulders up. ]
Hey, so, got a question for you all? Do you think they do Halloween here? Like, should I have gone out and gotten candy or something? I haven't had to worry about handing out candy for a long time but maybe I should do that here? So I don't get my place egged or something?
Thoughts?
[ See? There is totally nothing strange going on here. She is just being casual in her dark little spot, thinking about Halloween. ]
[ ooc: there will probably be mentions of drug use ]

Tandy? Where are you?
[ Skipping right over the whole 'are you okay' even though he really wants to ask. ]

Uh, I'm just...hanging out.
[ She tilts her head back to look up. ]
Is there any way to ping you my location or whatever?
no subject
[ And it's just a matter of the simple directions Eugene explains out carefully. ]
I'm coming to hang out with you.
[ Probably the most assertive he's sounded in months, honestly. He's usually more patient. But Tandy is the most important person in town to him, and he doesn't like what he sees. So he's putting her foot down, here. ]
no subject
Okay, so I'll see you in a moment?
[ Or maybe a couple more than that since she is hanging out in an alley, tucked away in a corner behind some boxes and garbage cans. She looks mostly unharmed except for a smudge of dirt along her jawline and the fact that she is touching her right ankle, probing gently and wincing every now and then. ]

[ There's the static whine of Eugene tapping into his powers, a blue and white flash behind him accompanying the buzz. It's not his usual big wings. These are smaller, made for faster travel. Just blue hardlight wings with no details. He turns his phone off and heads in her direction.
Landing outside the alley a bit later, his wings vanish the second he touches down on the pavement. Turning towards the alley, he hurries down it and finds her fairly quickly. He drops to a crouch nearby and looks her over, clearly concerned and worried. ]
What happened?

Shifting her gaze upwards when he lands, she admires the brief view of his wings before sighing at his question. She could lie but she doesn't try. ]
I got into a bit of a fight with someone. I hurt myself trying to get away from them.

[ A small smile flits onto his face as he looks up at her, making eye contact for a moment or two before looking at her injuries more. ]
I'm no trained medical professional, in case you weren't aware.
[ Yes, he is in fact mocking himself a tad. He's allowed. ]
Um...but...as far as I can tell, you're going to be a bit bruised. Your ankle looks like it's the worst of your injuries.
[ There's a quick nudge of is glasses back up his face, just the tip of his index finger to do so and then he looks at Tandy again, the look on his face now questioning and probably just a tad worried. ]
I can...Conduits, I mean. Some of us can heal. Like...other people? From like...the worst injuries. Even people near death. I-I'm not saying you're near death or anything. I'm just saying...
[ She's probably not going to understand gamer-speak about to come out of his mouth, but he's so nervous about what he's asking that he defaults to the familiar. ]
I like being the mage in a game, rather than the tank? Because mages can fix things like this, and I'm not really good with fighting.
[ Can she pick up on what he's asking? ]
It's up to you. It'll take a second or two and kind of feel like you stuck your ankle into that static electricity that builds up on older TV screens. But you'll be walking.
no subject
You can...
[ She trails off as he continues to explain, pausing with a flicker of a smile. She doesn't really seem surprised or weirded out by what he is telling her, instead she glances at her ankle and then back to his face again. ]
I mean, if you can, go ahead. Definitely do so if you can keep me out of casts or having to use crutches.

[ Jesus Christ, Eugene. Just fix the girl. He still has his moments where it surprises him that people want things from him. So he's going to grin at her and nod, reaching for his FluxPhone and scrolling through it to find the FluxFlix app. It doesn't really matter what video is playing, but he figures if he's going to do this, he's going to make sure he has the matter he needs for it. So an episode of some cooking show airs for a moment and Eugene hovers his hand over the screen. Soon enough, the stream starts to pixelate and float up to his hand, sinking into his skin as his eyes glow a whitish-blue color. His phone goes blank, the screen black as if it were shut off, and he shoves that into his pocket. ]
So...this doesn't hurt? But it most likely feels like static electricity build up like on a TV screen, or old computer monitor.
[ And with his hand hovering over her ankle, he focuses. The pixels from before seen to float down from his hand, wrapping carefully around her ankle and dancing around for a moment before vanishing. Other injuries flash and flare the same way before disappearing entirely. And her ankle is healed, as are any other bruises and abrasions she received before. ]
Let me know when you're ready to stand up, okay?

[ Tandy seems a bit confused by his surprise that she might want him to help her out or maybe it was that she wanted anything from him at all. She doesn't really know what the issue is there but she motions for him to continue even though she has no idea what he is doing next when he pulls out his phone. At first, she thinks maybe he is going to play some videos to distract her from whatever healing thing he is going to do but it isn't long before she catches on that he is using the technology to power himself up or something.
It's a mildly impressive trick and she almost forgets for a second what he is about to do until he tells her that it doesn't hurt. Still, she braces herself by taking in a breath and holding it as he holds his hand over her ankle. She watches as the pixels start to seep into her leg and, he is right, it feels like a weird flood of energy. It tingles as she wrinkles her nose, waiting as it builds until it fades.
When he's done, she moves her foot to test the feel before she holds out her hand. ]
Help me up?
Video
You, uh...You okay? You need any help or anything?
no subject
Uh, yeah. I just kind of did something stupid but someone is on their way to find me.
no subject
Okay...you want me to stay on the line, keep you company until they get there?
no subject
Yeah, if you don't mind?
[ She glances off-screen briefly, almost like something has caught her attention and she holds still for a second before looking back. ]
So, found any cool cats lately?
no subject
Sure, no problem.
[ He watches her, tensing just a bit when she looks off screen and waiting. When nothing happens and she turns her attention back to him, he shrugs. ]
Not really. Mostly I've just been helping O'Malley settle in.
[ On cue, the mention of his name has the cat meowing off screen, before jumping up onto the desk to be on screen. ]
Speaking of...Hey, buddy.
