[ At first, Mal thinks she has scared him off somehow but she doesn’t see why. He’s the one who had brought the whole werewolf thing up and so it was only natural for her to be curious.

Then he surprises her right as she is about to put her phone down but stops when he initiates the video call instead of texting.

Turning on her own video, he would find himself looking at a young, pretty woman with purple-blue hair and a slight, curious smirk on her face. At least until he starts to change, then the smirk drops and her lips part in surprise.

But she doesn’t look scared. She looks intrigued instead, leaning forward slightly despite the fact that it really isn’t going to let her look any closer than she is right now. ]
