Nobody is born bad. Good people can do bad things. Bad people can do good things. In the end, it's up to the person on what they want to do and if they're going to change.

But sometimes it's too late. Sometimes other people won't let them change.

It's never too late to make a change. Unless it's not a real change and just something when you're at death's door, scared of the consequences of making bad decisions throughout life.
Everything in life is a choice. Sometimes it's better to be alone than wish you were.

I've already faced those consequences. I don't want to repeat them.

If you really don't want to then you won't. Fear is a good deterrent. So is hope. Fear not to make the same mistakes and hope to do better.

I've tried in the past. But I kept getting drawn back into ... the bad things.
