Good afternoon everyone and I do mean everyone. I am here with a special announcement from Wechester Enterprises.

As you may have noticed, those of you with powers have experienced a loss in your abilities and that people are what we have termed 'glitching' on a regular basis. We here at Wechester are no exception and have started an initiative to look into what the cause or causes may be.

One of the locals brought in a small device from the market district that appeared to be 'glitching', too. The device, we agree, is semi-faulty which is what lead to its discovery. They were concerned it might be connected to our problems, so they passed it over to us so we could start an investigation.

Our electronics department is hard at work studying the device. It has not yielded any definitive answers as yet, however we have determined it is meant to be heavily cloaked and the faulty design it what led to its being found so easily.

We believe there are more devices like it out there, since its removal has not seen a reduction in our issues. As soon as we have a way of locating these other devices, we will be letting all of you know through a similar announcement.

That is all for now. I will answer as many questions as I can, but know our information at this time is as limited to what I've already stated.

I don't know about the rest of you, but it looks like I get to check off being kidnapped to an alternate dimension from my bucket list.

I have noticed quite a few people on this network chatting about special abilities. So, uh, hi. My name is Jean Grey. I've also gone by Marvel Girl and Phoenix more recently but...[ she shrugs and chuckles ] not really sure what the point in keeping superhero codenames would be in a place like this. Just Jean seems pretty good to me.

[ She waves a hand. ] Anyway, I've been trying to get to know people. I'm used to living in a school with a lot of people I know. They're loud sometimes but, I dunno, I guess it's different when you know them. I had a question though, to try to get to know people better. Where I come from it's not uncommon for people to have special gifts. What I wanted to ask is, how common is that where you're all from? And if you're comfortable saying, how many of you have gifts? I'll understand if anyone isn't that comfortable talking about their own, where I'm from it's also super common for humans to hate people with abilities. So, no worries if you don't want to talk about it and thank you to anyone that does.

[Sam's a little more used to the devices now, so when the video starts, his face is a normal distance away from this time. He waves and gives an awkward kind of half smile, rubbing at the back of his neck.]

Hey. I'm Sam. I just got here a couple weeks ago. You've probably seen me around. I deliver for SuperWaiters. Uh, what else.

I'm from Earth? America, but maybe a different America from yours. From the East Coast, mostly. I was a delivery person there, too, so I traveled a lot.

[There are some small, sleepy noises in the background and Sam murmurs Oh she's up before swinging the camera around to show a pod with a baby in it, carefully nestled into the crate with blankets]

That's Lou. She's my little girl. She uh, she's a preemie. The pod helps her.

Anyway. [He clears his throat and brings the camera back to him, waving again] I'll probably see you around town.

There are more new faces here than I've seen in a long time. Let's keep introductions short. My name is Bruce Wayne, multi-billionaire who now works on the board for Mr. Wechester's company. I'm sure you'll have heard of him at some point the longer you are here.

You're in a reality known as Haven. It's a desert filled environment with people who seem to believe in survival before anything else. Given the state of this outpost - city? I can't say I blame them. It seems like they'll let us take up odd jobs. Most of us have our current jobs in tact, even if the buildings outside have changed in appearance.

Your phone will allow you to contact any of us who are your fellow reality travelers. We seem to flux into new realities every few months, but, there's never any guarantee how long we're in one place for. Magic exists among your fellow travelers - so do superpowers and superheroes. We all come from different realities. Some of us come from the same ones.

Okay...so I think we can all agree that the people here are pretty...grumpy, to put it nicely. And to be honest, I can't say I really blame them, but I tend to get a little nervous when people give me the kind of looks that the town folks have been giving us on the regular.

I think I might've found something that could help, though. You've probably noticed that the people here really like color. Kinda hard not to see it; there are paintings everywhere, people sporting all kinds of crazy clothes and body art. And no one really minds if you put up some art on any available wall. I've kinda been doing a lot of it since we got here, and while it hasn't exactly gotten people to warm up to me - yet - I do get far less dirty looks for just being around.

So that might be a good place to start? Decorating houses, or workplaces, or whatever so that we blend in a bit more - or stand out, I guess. Maybe it'll get the people around here to lighten up a little more around us? At the very least, they might like seeing more art out there.

And I'd be happy to help out if anyone needs it. This is kinda my thing.
