my apartment wont let me have a dog. which is a real tragedy because i could write a whole twenty page essay about how dogs are great and everyone should have one.

a lot of all of the above and some stuff i did have control over but did nothing about so someone close to me died.

[And then there was a knock on Peter's door a bit later because he actually came.]

[ tried not to dwell too much on the conversation he'd just had with Loki and busied himself with cleaning the apartment as he's sure that's what May would have him do if she was here. ]

[ He's honestly a little surprised when Loki does show up though, as he'll be honest, he didn't think he actually cared that much. He pulls the door open and steps back to invite Loki in. ]

Um... uh... do you... uh-want anything to drink? [ What exactly are you supposed to offer a literal god when they visit your house? What would May do? Oh right- ]

[Truth be told, Loki hadn't been sure what to expect when he'd agreed to meet Peter. At first, he'd been annoyed by the boy, but the lad had grown on him, almost like a fungus, in the short time he's spent with him. He couldn't actually say why he felt protective of the boy, but he did, and there was precious little he cared about around here.
