The feed opens with a close up of Stiles's nose at a less than flattering angle, but he quickly pulls it away and gets it so that his face is mostly in the frame. "So, uh, I may have fallen down a rabbit hole of research and not looked up in, uh. Two months. Did I miss anything important?" He grins, with absolutely no remorse at all.

"Honestly, there's been a lot you missed. But that's probably a good thing. Quick question, though. Did you experience any, uh...glitching this past week or so?"

He hums quietly at the question, looking up and off to the side. "How bad is it if the answer is 'yes'?"

"Pretty bad, but typical to what everyone else was going through. You're not still glitching now though, are you?"

All the devices had been taken care of by now, so he was pretty sure everyone had stopped glitching, but it was probably better to double check.

He lets out a sigh and nods. "Okay, good. Past-tense bad is good... and not that I've noticed, but, uh. My attention span isn't exactly the most reliable thing."

[idontgetpaid]

"Trust me, you'd definitely notice if you were still glitching. But it's glad to see you're okay anyway. Find anything useful in your research?"

[yourbatman]

"Well, that depends... you wanna open up a diet vegan noodle company? I meant to research guns, but then I found out about ballistics gel, and what Jello is actually made from, and then from there it was a whole food science rabbit hole. Pro tip do not look up what Jello is made from if you don't already know."

"Noted, thanks." Although the rebellious part of him did kind of want to look up Jello now. "So it's pretty much just been looking up anything and everything, huh?"

"Sure thing, man. Yeah, pretty much. I think I'm addicted to Wikipedia," he flashed a sheepish grin. "Sorry I missed out on all the fun, usually that research streak helps when shit hits the fan." Rather than making him vanish and provide no useful help whatsoever.

"And hey, at least I wasn't the problem this time."

He snickers a little. "Hey, you can get find a lot of great info pretty quick on a wiki. And don't sweat missing out this time. Knowing these places, I'm sure something else'll come up down the line."

[yourbatman]

"You really can. So do you know anybody that's got some theories about this place? I'm workin' on one now but I'd sure like a second opinion." And, you know, to get an outside perspective. Maybe he was chasing the wrong threads.

He has to think about that for a moment. "I haven't heard of anyone working on anything recently," he admits. Or if he has, he hasn't been paying attention. "You'd probably be able to ask around more on the network though."

"Yeah, maybe. I don't wanna freak anybody out, though," and his theory was freaking him out. That was bad enough, as far as he was concerned.

He couldn't help a frown. "What kind of theory is it?"

[yourbatman]

"Uuuuuuuuh the kind that makes you question your own sanity?" He grins shamelessly.

[idontgetpaid]

"Kinda sounds like a theory that needs to be shared."

[yourbatman]

"You ever feel like your life is like. Way too much? Like the kind of thing that no one would believe if you wrote it down and claimed it was a movie or something?"

"Uh...you mean other than being in this place? Sometimes."
