Well, this place definitely has character, doesn't it?
[ There is no attempting to hide the disdain dripping from the pretty blonde's words as she keeps the camera trained on her, looking less than impressed as she glances down at the packet of information and the box of cookies that had been given to her. ]
Honestly, when I find out who brought me here...
[ Okay, maybe she shouldn't talk about rampage and killing just yet which is some serious growing for Rebekah Mikaelson. Not that it's hard to guess there had been a threat ready to follow the statement but she stops herself, draws in a breath through her nose, and then sighs with a tight smile. ]
I guess it doesn't need to be said what I will do because I cannot be here right now. If I don't get back home and soon, very bad things will start to happen.
[ She doesn't specify whether she means bad things will happen back at home or here. Maybe both. ]
But until then, could someone please tell me what the bloody hell I'm supposed to do right now? Also, if you recognize the name Mikaelson, do speak up. If you know the name Niklaus, well...I'm sorry but do point me in his direction if he is here. Or anyone else with the last name, thank you.

I'm sorry, what? Who are you?

[ She looks a little staggered. ]
That's not possible. I just saw you and you were a baby.

[ She stops, pursing her lips a bit. ]
How do I know you're actually telling the truth? This could be a trick.

I'm near the tacky little information booth, you can find me here.

[ She shrugs, eyeing the box once again. ]
Perhaps I'll share once you get here. If you are actually my niece.
no subject
[ And with that, she's off to meet her. It's weird for Rebekah to be from Hope was just a baby. Did that mean maybe her parents could come from the past too?
It doesn't take long for Hope to get there and she recognizes her aunt immediately. She wants to rush to hug her but she hesitates because Rebekah doesn't believe her. ]
no subject
So she waits until the young girl shows up and almost right away she can see the similarities that mark her as a Mikaelson. Not that she rushes towards Hope. Instead, she takes her time, studying Hope closely until she can get close enough to look at her eyes.
Then, after a moment, she sort of melts as she reaches to pull Hope in. ]
It really is you, my sweet girl.
no subject
She embraces her aunt tightly, almost afraid to let go. ]

It's okay, my little dove.

When is the last time we saw each other?

But she has to ask. ]
But you do know where I am, right?
[ Please tell her she isn't daggered again. ]
no subject
[ Hope's not sure what to tell her of the future. About her mom and dad...or Rebekah and Marcel. Elijah. People aren't supposed to know their futures, right?
But how can she not tell her? ]
no subject
[ She looks concerned before sighing. ]
Am I in a box again?
no subject
[ Hope really isn't sure what to say now. ]
You're actually really happy. With Marcel.
no subject
Marcel? Really?
no subject
[ But then, she wouldn't be carrying it alone. ]
no subject
I don't think I could do anything to change it, right? So you might as well tell me.
no subject
I'm afraid it's not a very happy story, Aunt Rebekah.

Here, Rebekah, have a slight young woman with long dark hair and ice blue eyes. And a voice laced with an English accent, when she speaks. English-by-way-of-a-few places. (Greece, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, just to name a few.)]
Afraid we don't have much say in the coming and going. At least not yet. Haven't met anyone who had figured out a way to control it. We're at the whims of whatever the fuck it is deciding to bring us here. And presumably decides to send us away again.
[She's rather lackadaisical about the whole thing, but this is her seventh fucking world. She's kind of used to it by now.]
Get a job. Make friends. Get into trouble. Get OUT of trouble. Get tired of the fucking sand. [She smirks.] There's a lot to do.
[Is that sarcasm? YEAH. There's not a lot to do in Haven. Maybe the next place they end up.]
no subject
She takes note of the accent which is pleasant enough but not as important as the words. ]
Well, that's terribly boring, isn't it? Also, this sand is going to be terrible for my shoes and they are very expensive shoes.
[ She angles her phone down to show off the fashionable, clearly designer brand high heeled boots she is wearing at the moment. Definitely not designed for deserts. ]
Just please tell me there is somewhere where I can get a decent drink.
no subject
[They're really nice shoes. And yeah, they're going to get wrecked by the sand.]
THAT, I can do. It's called Pour Judgement.
no subject
[ That's what she was afraid of. ]
Cute name. I hope that it's easy to find?

Jerry in the pointless booth should've explained that you aren't going back anytime soon and supposedly, nobody's going to notice you're gone because whatever time you came from doesn't move until you get back.
[ Maybe one day he'll introduce himself when starting a conversation. Probably not. She didn't either so hopefully his manners wouldn't put her off too much.
Diego watched his screen with a very matter-of-fact face. ]
no subject
He might have mentioned something along those lines which sounds ridiculous to me. My niece is here and she is older than the last time I saw her. How does he explain that?
no subject
And if you push too hard, you don't get cookies from the prick.
[ The annoyance appeared on his face that matched his delivery on what he'd informed her last. Someone obviously didn't get cookies. ]
At least you have someone here. [ Something else Diego didn't get. ]
I have a brother who's supposedly been here twice before but the seven of us were trying to leave with him when life as we knew it was coming to an end. Haven't seen any of them here so far and it's been months now.
no subject
Apparently not.
[ And it seemed that he was immune to compulsion but she wasn't about to tell this man that. ]
Well, having brothers around isn't always as fun as it sounds but it sounds like you might miss yours. When was the last time he was here? Maybe he'll come back?
no subject
[ If she was observant, Rebekah would pick up how he softened at the last statement. A clear sadness for the brief moment. Diego straightened up as he continued. ]
I haven't met anyone yet who seemed to know more than he had my same last name so I can't answer that. Either I haven't met the right person yet or no surprise the the old man didn't make friends when he was here.
no subject
I take it he's not a people person?
no subject
For as long as I've known him. ...Who's Niklaus?
[ Because enough about him. She'd made some points that Diego had zeroed in on. ]
no subject
We have...a complicated relationship.
no subject
Sorry, I'm not any help. I'll keep an ear and eyes out for him and the family name.

[ The lady seemed very upset so Ty thought he could offer some answers even if it wasn't what she wanted to hear. ]
I hope you don't mean that bad things will start to happen here because you can't get back home. Your home world should be safe. From what I understand, our timelines are frozen while we're here.
My girlfriend and I, along with some others, are trying to help new people. We can show you around and try to help you get settled. The good news is that you might find someone from home here. I was lucky to find her but she was here a long time without me.
I don't know if any of this helps. I'm sorry you got dragged here with us but there are good people here.
[ Hopefully she was one of them. ]
no subject
I'm Rebekah.
[ Since she had kind of failed to mention that part, just her last name. ]
I suppose I mostly mean at home though I do have a bit of a temper. [ Yeah right, Rebekah. It's more than a bit. ]
I did find someone from home but I still don't understand how my timeline could be frozen. That would...I don't even think it's possible. The amount of magic would be more than I've seen and I have seen magic do some...amazing things.
But thank you for your offer. You're very sweet.

It had bothered him to learn his girlfriend had gotten kidnapped again after what she'd been through in their world (abducted in a similar fashion). He didn't think much about being taken himself since he was able to be in Haven with Tandy.
Rebekah said she had a bit of a temper and Ty started to think maybe it was a trait for blondes.
What she said about someone from home had only made him happier and then she called him sweet. He looked away shyly with a smile but quickly looked back at her. ]
It's a lot to take in. --This place. But people have left and come back, it isn't just what Jerry says about being here.
[ Ty looked pensive for a second, furrowing his brow. ]
I mean, their minds could have been altered but I don't see a point in lying to us. People still want to go home. I don't think that'd change any.
no subject
So people just sort of go about their lives and wait to be sent home eventually?
