[ There is no attempting to hide the disdain dripping from the pretty blonde's words as she keeps the camera trained on her, looking less than impressed as she glances down at the packet of information and the box of cookies that had been given to her. ]

[ Okay, maybe she shouldn't talk about rampage and killing just yet which is some serious growing for Rebekah Mikaelson. Not that it's hard to guess there had been a threat ready to follow the statement but she stops herself, draws in a breath through her nose, and then sighs with a tight smile. ]

I guess it doesn't need to be said what I will do because I cannot be here right now. If I don't get back home and soon, very bad things will start to happen.

[ She doesn't specify whether she means bad things will happen back at home or here. Maybe both. ]

But until then, could someone please tell me what the bloody hell I'm supposed to do right now? Also, if you recognize the name Mikaelson, do speak up. If you know the name Niklaus, well...I'm sorry but do point me in his direction if he is here. Or anyone else with the last name, thank you.

[ She shrugs, eyeing the box once again. ]

Perhaps I'll share once you get here. If you are actually my niece.

[ And with that, she's off to meet her. It's weird for Rebekah to be from Hope was just a baby. Did that mean maybe her parents could come from the past too?

It doesn't take long for Hope to get there and she recognizes her aunt immediately. She wants to rush to hug her but she hesitates because Rebekah doesn't believe her. ]

[ Despite her hesitation, Rebekah realizes that it isn't really that strange for Hope to be a teenager now. How many times has she missed decades of someone's life? This certainly wouldn't be the first.

So she waits until the young girl shows up and almost right away she can see the similarities that mark her as a Mikaelson. Not that she rushes towards Hope. Instead, she takes her time, studying Hope closely until she can get close enough to look at her eyes.

Then, after a moment, she sort of melts as she reaches to pull Hope in. ]

It really is you, my sweet girl.

[ The relief that washes over Hope is visible, as soon as Rebekah pulls her in for the hug. Hope needs this. She's been through far too much lately. Family is just what she needs.

She embraces her aunt tightly, almost afraid to let go. ]

[ Rebekah doesn't understand it but she senses a sort of distress when the other girl hugs her and almost immediately she is making soothing noises as she reaches up to stroke Hope's hair. ]

It's okay, my little dove.

I missed you so much.

[ Rebekah looks a touch concerned as she leans back. ]

When is the last time we saw each other?

It's...been a while Aunt Rebekah. [ And it felt even longer with the time she spent in Malivore. ]

[ She tries not to worry over that since it isn't unusual for their family to be separated at times, right?

But she has to ask. ]

But you do know where I am, right?

[ Please tell her she isn't daggered again. ]

[ Hope's not sure what to tell her of the future. About her mom and dad...or Rebekah and Marcel. Elijah. People aren't supposed to know their futures, right?

But how can she not tell her? ]

Why do you look worried?

[ She looks concerned before sighing. ]

Am I in a box again?

No...it's not that.

[ Hope really isn't sure what to say now. ]

You're actually really happy. With Marcel.

[ She can't help but look surprised. ]

Marcel? Really?

Yeah, it's a long story. And I don't know how much I can tell you. Isn't it bad to know the future?

[ But then, she wouldn't be carrying it alone. ]

[ Rebekah hums softly before tilting her head to the side. ]

I don't think I could do anything to change it, right? So you might as well tell me.

[ Hope looks uncomfortable, even pained. The guilt still bubbles up on her, she can't help it. ]

I'm afraid it's not a very happy story, Aunt Rebekah.
