in case people needed more confirmation that whatever the guards are protecting us from is in fact very very dangerous and very very bad and should maybe idk be stopped for good or something...
[ And there's a picture sent of a bite on the inside of someone's forearm, but it doesn't quite look like a normal animal bite. Oh, sure, there are many, many clear puncture marks made by the Unseen (who apparently have a ton of very sharp and jagged teeth), and the position makes it very apparent that whoever was bit was doing their best to block the blow. But the injuries themselves are blue. Scabbed over in what appears to be blue instead of the typical appearance.
And around that are, it looks just a little bit blue, like someone stuck their arm in something exceptionally cold and left it there for a while. ]
The whole area is cold. Not cold from anesthetic or something. Cold like I shoved it in a bucket of ice water and left it there for far too long.
The nurses gave me some good advice upon discharge; don't try to warm the area back up. It won't work, and it'll hurt like hell.
Can confirm. Listen to the good health care professionals, folks.

[ He doesn't know for sure, but he has a suspicion of who this is, and he is both super concerned and angry that she'd gone without him. ]
Re: Text
[ It's Gwen. If she actually sat still and did nothing, she wouldn't be herself and that'd be worrisome. ]
It's really weird to have ice growing where I got bit. It's flexible? Sort of? But I hate it.

You're definitely gonna need to take it easy for a while.
[ Translation: You're grounded. ]

Yeah, I know. It sucks. If you decide to go out, be careful. Really pay attention to your surroundings.

Right. I'll do what I can.
[ He can't really guarantee anything, though, since...well, Unseen. ]

They handed me discharge papers and said to have a lovely evening. Really not sure what to do now because it's still dark out, so I guess I'm waiting until the sun comes up in a few hours. So that was most informative and I feel that much smarter with this brand new information.

Either way, I would like to see the wound in person if you would be okay with that. If not, I completely understand.
Re: text:
Okay. I'll be available tomorrow around breakfast.
[ Because at this point, Gwen's given up on keeping Ghost Spider a secret. What she wants is to figure out how to help this damn town and get rid of the Unseen forever. ]
