in case people needed more confirmation that whatever the guards are protecting us from is in fact very very dangerous and very very bad and should maybe idk be stopped for good or something...
[ And there's a picture sent of a bite on the inside of someone's forearm, but it doesn't quite look like a normal animal bite. Oh, sure, there are many, many clear puncture marks made by the Unseen (who apparently have a ton of very sharp and jagged teeth), and the position makes it very apparent that whoever was bit was doing their best to block the blow. But the injuries themselves are blue. Scabbed over in what appears to be blue instead of the typical appearance.
And around that are, it looks just a little bit blue, like someone stuck their arm in something exceptionally cold and left it there for a while. ]
The whole area is cold. Not cold from anesthetic or something. Cold like I shoved it in a bucket of ice water and left it there for far too long.
The nurses gave me some good advice upon discharge; don't try to warm the area back up. It won't work, and it'll hurt like hell.
