Why hello there!

[Snow is, unsurprisingly, smiling. A glance around her says she's at the high school. A further glance shows that all of her animal friends, even Alarick, are all sitting outside the window, watching her.] I'm learning so many things at school, it's so exciting! But there is something I've heard of but I'm not sure what it means and people just look at me strange when I ask.

What is detention?

You see, I have it for the rest of the week and I'm just really not sure what to do for it. Everything else I've picked up on with some help or was told what it was... although, I'm still not sure what a "ditz" is either though or why people keep calling me that.

But would someone be so kind as to explain detention and what I do there? I just want to be prepared for it. I don't wish to upset the teacher by not being ready! Oh, that's so exciting to say! A teacher! A real teacher! I've never had a human one before coming here. I'm so excited to meet this new one!

[ Evie'd approve of people looking out for her, honestly. She might not like their methods, but Evie knows she can't be around snow 24/7 much like she'd like. And she knows that Snow has her own independence and way of doing things and Fairy Godmother bless her for it.

When Snow steps into the room, it's just in time to hear Evie thank the teacher with a grin on her face and then she's turning and smiling at Snow and hugging her. ]

I have great news, but I'm going to let your teacher tell you. Let's just say I might have cleared a few things up just a little bit.

[The teacher, for his part, looked a bit flushed before clearing his throat and explaining that, perhaps, since Snow is so new and coming from such a unique background, he may have been... hasty in assuming she was trying to be a class clown and truly had, instead, misunderstood his questions. But since he had assigned detention, she would at least need to serve tomorrow but that would be it.]

Oh! That's wonderful! I will have to tell the boys in detention I won't be able to see them after tomorrow though. We've become fast friends.

[ While the teacher is explaining what happened, Evie is standing by, hands folded respectfully behind her back as she listened, watching Snow for her reaction. ]

Thank you, Snow. We'll have the boys over for dinner some night soon, okay? Tell them that much, at least. Are you ready to head home? We have to stop at Freshway to pick up an order of food for Alarick, but other than that, we're good to head home and finish making dinner for ourselves.

Oh! We're invited over to their's as well to have their grandmother's lasagna! It's so nice that they have such a big family, isn't it? [She doesn't... get that some of them aren't actually related. But Snow has always wanted a ridiculously large family, it's why she's basically the matriarch of the dwarven household.]

And that's alright, Alarick is just outside waiting since they don't let wolves and other animals into the school! OH! Evie, there's a new recipe I want to try just for you! It's our final for the year, to make a chocolate souffle! I've never had one but I think I should be able to make it! Will you be my very first taste tester?
