[ There is a rather adorable puppy playing with her own feet, right in the living-room of the apartment Lara shares with Five. She's round, bouncy, and there's a box nearby that has Lara's name on it. There are chew marks on the box. Look who got a new puppy for Christmas. ]
All those years spent asking my mother and father for a dog for Christmas, and I have to travel to some unknown world to get one.
[ She sounds absolutely teasing. Turning her FluxPhone to herself, there's a soft smile on her face. ]
Not that I'm complaining. I just wonder what the catch is. Is it normal to wake up with strange items in your living-space? Or animals? I've already experienced finding things from home in my apartment, back when I arrived here. But this puppy isn't from home. This is the first time I've seen her in my life.
[ There's a yip and a bark behind her and the puppy bounds over, tripping over her own feet in the process before bowling into the back of Lara's legs. Lara wobbles a tad but remains steady, looking down at the dog with a soft laugh. ]
You need a name, don't you?
[ With that, she turns off her phone. ]
